About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our FP&A team. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of FP&A and serve as a critical leader in shaping Wing’s financial future. You will be responsible for leading Wings core financial planning, including resource allocation, short and long term financial projections, business analysis, and leading the long-term (10-year) strategic planning process.

We are looking for an individual with at least 10 years of progressive experience. We are looking for a highly proactive and results-driven individual with a background in Investment Banking or Management Consulting who possesses a continuous improvement mindset and an appetite for automation and AI. You will need the skillset to mentor and lead a team.

What You’ll Do:

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage all aspects of budgeting and forecasting for Wing, including creating the annual plan, updating financial projections monthly, and managing resource allocation.
• Executive Reporting: Own executive-level Wing financial reporting and conduct review, analysis, and reporting, explicitly connecting operational KPIs and unit economics to drive actionable financial insights.
• Strategic Planning: Play a lead role in the development and refinement of the 10-year long-term plan (LTP), ensuring our financial models accurately reflect the realities of our scaling operations.
• Operational & Strategic Alignment: Drive consistency across all financial deliverables by reconciling data, owning the documentation and stakeholder sign-offs, and ensure our day-to-day metrics tie to our long-term financial models.
• Commercial Transition: Act as the strategic link between Accounting and FP&A to evolve our reporting frameworks as Wing transitions from an R&D-focused startup to a global commercial leader.
• Executive Storytelling & Visual Communication: Distill complex operational data into visually compelling, "board-ready" narratives. You have a relentless eye for detail and a passion for creating clear, elegant slides that simplify the complex and drive executive decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Accounting to ensure all operational costs are captured and that our commercialization efforts are built on a sound financial foundation.
• Automation & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and use AI to improve the speed and accuracy of our financial insights.

What You’ll Need:

• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with experience managing a small team.
• Background: Proven track record in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or a high-growth Strategic Finance environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong foundation in accounting principles, coupled with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and presentation tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Slides).
• Mindset: Resourceful and action-oriented, demonstrating an ability to independently drive data retrieval and analysis. Must possess the ability to synthesize detailed, complex data into clear, strategic narratives for executive-level audiences.
• AI & Tech Savvy: A hunger for automation and experience (or high aptitude) for leveraging AI in finance workflows.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at various levels.
