This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of aircraft systems to ensure they are safe, airworthy, and ready for flight and customer delivery. You will perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and engine run-ups, working across jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft in a professional hangar environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions on a variety of aircraft systems and components.
• Disassemble aircraft components and systems to identify issues and perform required maintenance.
• Rework, repair, replace, and reassemble aircraft parts and systems in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Adjust and fine-tune systems to ensure proper function and compliance with safety and performance requirements.
• Perform turbine engine troubleshooting, including identifying and resolving performance or reliability issues.
• Conduct detailed turbine engine inspections to verify airworthiness and detect potential problems.
• Carry out turbine engine repairs and component replacements as needed.
• Perform engine run-ups to verify proper operation following maintenance and repair activities.
• Support phase inspections, modifications, and maintenance on jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft.
• Work on Cessna, Hawker, and Beechcraft aircraft as needed, applying type-specific knowledge and procedures.
• Document all maintenance, inspections, and repairs accurately and in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure aircraft are prepared for safe flight and on-time delivery to customers.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area in the hangar.

• Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic working on jet, turboprop, piston aircraft, modifications, and phase inspections.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent education).
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues on various aircraft systems.
• Ability to perform turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and work orders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to performing high-quality, compliant maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced maintenance environment.

• Preferred: 1–2 years of experience working on Cessna, Hawker, or Beechcraft aircraft.
• General aviation (GA) or corporate aviation maintenance experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting modifications and phase inspections on multiple aircraft types.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and turbine engine systems.
• Solid communication skills to coordinate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Ability to adapt to different shifts as opportunities arise based on seniority.

Work Environment

You will work in a hangar environment at a busy aviation facility, performing hands-on maintenance on various aircraft. Weekend shifts are available from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with schedules such as Thursday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday, and candidates who can only work a regular first shift may still be considered. Shift assignments are determined by seniority, and you may apply to move to a first shift as openings arise. The role involves working around active aircraft, tools, and ground support equipment, requiring adherence to all safety procedures and appropriate work attire suitable for a maintenance hangar setting.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93000.00/yr.
