Description
-Must have knowledge of tools and consumables; have the ability to issue out and receive tools.
-Guarantee the functionality of all production tools in accordance with production needs; to guarantee the operation of the tool crib in accordance with production schedule at all times.
-To issue production tools and equipment to employees, and maintain records of use and monitor the tool crib inventory. Inspect, repair and maintain tools and equipment as assigned; maintain tool room in a clean and orderly condition, return tools and equipment to the proper place. Perform routine duties involving the care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
-Perform related duties as assigned.
-Must be able to work independently (without supervision).
-Working conditions: Tool room and shop environment; subject to lifting, carrying, pushing and climbing, and equipment noise and fumes.
-Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
-Learn and apply appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
This is a Full-Time position.
Days and hours of employment may change depending on production needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Check tools in and out for use
2. Preventive maintenance (Track due dates and perform periodic inspections and required maintenance for production tools)
3. Make new Tool Control Cards for new tools
4. Update Tool Control Card( tool history / calibration)
5. Write, track and file Lost Tool Notices
6. File Tool Control Cards
7. Update data files
8. Repair/send out broken tools
9. Assist Engineering with continuous improvement projects
10. Inventory of production tools
11. Receive in new tools
12. Incoming inspection for new tools
13. Send out and track hydraulic samples
14. Receive in and file hydraulic sample results
15. Track calibration and periodic inspection due dates
16. Send out and receive in calibrated tools
17. File calibration certifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
