Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist where you will play a critical role in managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Triage inbound shipments, prioritizing sales orders first, followed by stock.
- Verify required paperwork and traceability, including part/serial/batch, certification type, trace chain, and dates.
- Scan and upload documents, take required photos, and enter records into the inventory system.
- Verify outbound part/serial and documentation to ensure an audit-ready packet.
- Package parts, create shipping labels for FedEx, UPS, DHL, or freight, and prepare items for pickup.
- Update the system and send a closeout email to Sales with all documents and tracking information.
- Maintain clean staging and organized locations in the warehouse.
- Follow no loose parts standards, ensuring everything is tagged, tracked, and staged correctly.
Essential Skills- Experience with inventory systems such as ERP, WMS, or any inventory tracking system.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, PDFs, and basic Excel/Word.
- High attention to detail and comfort with checklist-based work.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Willingness to ship Hazmat and obtain Hazmat certification with company support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Inspection and quality control experience.
- Familiarity with forklift operations and willingness to certify on the job.
- Experience with aviation parts inspection.
- Proficiency in using tools such as blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.
- Quality assurance and documentation review skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
