We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join a dedicated team at the Washington County Airport repair station. This role involves performing avionics troubleshooting, installations, and repairs on corporate jets and general aviation aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, installations, and repairs on avionics systems of corporate jets and general aviation aircraft.
• Work on aircraft such as Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger, Piper, and King Air.
• Utilize own tools to conduct repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with a small team of A&P mechanics to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in overtime as required to meet project deadlines.

• 5+ years of experience in avionics troubleshooting on corporate jets or general aviation aircraft.
• Familiarity with aircraft such as Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger, Piper, and King Air.
• Experience with Cessna Citation, Piper, and King Air is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and avionics electrical systems.
• Hold an A&P license, particularly for military avionics candidates.

• Experience with commercial aircraft is welcomed.
• Proficiency with Garmin systems and ADS upgrades and installations.
• Experience in a P145 repair station environment is advantageous.

Work in a hangar environment alongside eight mechanics, where teamwork and collaboration are key. The role requires a willingness to engage in overtime when necessary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, PA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
