Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join a dedicated team at the Washington County Airport repair station. This role involves performing avionics troubleshooting, installations, and repairs on corporate jets and general aviation aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, installations, and repairs on avionics systems of corporate jets and general aviation aircraft.
- Work on aircraft such as Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger, Piper, and King Air.
- Utilize own tools to conduct repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with a small team of A&P mechanics to ensure efficient operations.
- Participate in overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of experience in avionics troubleshooting on corporate jets or general aviation aircraft.
- Familiarity with aircraft such as Falcon, Gulfstream, Learjet, Hondajet, Hawker, Cessna, Challenger, Piper, and King Air.
- Experience with Cessna Citation, Piper, and King Air is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and avionics electrical systems.
- Hold an A&P license, particularly for military avionics candidates.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with commercial aircraft is welcomed.
- Proficiency with Garmin systems and ADS upgrades and installations.
- Experience in a P145 repair station environment is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a hangar environment alongside eight mechanics, where teamwork and collaboration are key. The role requires a willingness to engage in overtime when necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
